Krusseldorf aka Simon Heath was born in Stockholm, Sweden 1977. Piano school at an early age led to frustration of having to play other peoples' works instead of creating his own, so with an Amiga and a microphone he started learning the ropes of production early on, and started climbing them with great care.
Simon has released 14 full length albums in many genres over the years, among them: Atrium Carceri, a black ambient / noise /industrial project that released 5 albums; Za Frûmi, his classical music project, which to this date spans 8 albums and have gotten tracks featured and played by the famous 100+ man Swedish Radio Symphonic Orchestra at the once a year classical music event on national TV.
He was also involved or release under the names: Abnocto, Couchlock, Alembic, Sojobo, Dorf Unit, Preponderance and Knaprika.

Nun verlassen wir wieder einmal die Welt des Trance und tauchen in die musikalischen Atmosphären von Dub, Lounge, Psychill und Ambient.
Jemand der die Produktion dieser Musik gut beherrscht ist Krusseldorf. Hinter diesem skurrilen Namen steht der schwedische Composer Simon Heath. Er wurde 1977 in Stockholm geboren und besuchte schon in frühen Jahren die Musikschule. Er lernte Piano und doch fand er es mit der Zeit enttäuschen, die Musik von anderen Künstlern zu spielen. Simon machte sich selbstständig und begann mit einem Amiga und Mikrophon erste Experimente durchzuführen.
Bisher hat Krusseldorf 14 Alben veröffentlicht. Dazu gehört zum Beispiel das Atrium Carceri - Projekt, und Za Frûmi.
Des weiteren hat er bei folgenden Projekten mitgewirkt: Abnocto, Couchlock, Alembic, Sojobo, Dorf Unit, Preponderance und Knaprika.
Bis vor zwei Wochen war mir Krusseldorf absolut unbekannt. Da stöberte ich bei Goastore.ch so ein bisschen herum und sofort viel mir dieser Name auf. Was wohl dahinter steckt? Erstaunlich tolle Musik, musste ich erfahren. So dauerte es nicht lange, bis ich mir Ende März Bohemian Groove bestellte. Seitdem kann ich erst einmal nichts anderes mehr hören. Krusseldorf haut mich einfach um. Die Musik verleiht das Gefühl von Ruhe, Gelassenheit und Entspannung.
Viele Titel sind von tiefen Bässen, kräftigen Beats und wunderschönen Melodien gekennzeichnet. Eine Ähnlichkeit zu Ott liegt hier sehr nahe.
In einer Musiksammlung die Ott, Zero Cult, Ailo, RND und Side Liner enthalten, ist dieses Alben absolut notwendig. Wichtig: Solche Musik sollte man als Original-CD und nicht als mp3 besitzen. Die Qualität ist wesentlich entscheidend für den richtigen Hörgenuss. Und das erreicht man nur mit Original-CD´s. In Bohemian Groove sehe ich ein potenziellen "Muss-Kauf" und auf einer Skala von 0 bis 10 Punkten verleihe ich, ohne weiter nach zu denken, Zehn Punkte.
