Lange ist es her, dass ich etwas geschrieben habe. Aber naja....die CD´s werden langsam knapp und wenn nichts neues dazu kommt kann auch kein neuer Eintrag erstellt werden. Das hat sich aber jetzt geändert.  
Ein neues Album wird Einzug in meine Sammlung halten. 
CJ Catalizer - I´ll Be There ist der Name des neuen Silberlings, der am 4.3.2011 veröffentlicht wird. Wer genau hinter dem Namen steckt, konnte ich leider nicht herausfinden aber die Musik ist umso besser. I´ll Be There ist das dritte Album von CJ dessen Musik ist eine Mischung Chillout, Psybient und Downtempo darstellt.
Die CD  erschien unter dem  Label Altar-Records, zu denen bereits die vorgestellten Platten Air und Water gehören. Trotz dem Erscheinungsdatum sind bereits alle Titel zum anhören online gestellt. Einfach hier klicken!
Zur Zeit kann ich nichts anderes hören. Jeder Titel ist ein einmaliger Genuss. Wundervolle, ruhige und sphärische Stücke (01 - Waves Geometry) wechseln sich mit flotten Beats (08 - Live Lattitude) ab und erzeugen ein wahre galaktische Stimmung ;-). 
Das Cover ist sehr schön gestalltet, wie man zweifellos erkennen kann und überzeugt mit kräftigen Farben. Die CD erscheint als Jewel-Case und digitales Format. 
Durch Zufall bin ich auf CJ Catalizer gestoßen. Nun ist er nicht mehr aus meiner Sammlung weg zu denken. Aber hört selber...!

Entheogenic ist das musikalische Projekt von Helmut Glaver und Piers Oak-Rhind. Die Musik ist eine Mischung aus Psytrance, Dub und orientalischen Sounds.

Das Album Golden Cap erschien im Jahre 2006 und gehört daher schon zu den älteren Releases von Entheogenic. 

Golden Cap ist eigentlich eine neue Auflage von dem Vorgänger-Album Entheogenic - Dialogue Of The Speakers. 

Viele Tracks wurden nur geringfügig verändert und einige Vocals sind sogar von anderen Künstlern übernommen. Die Musik ist ansich sehr schön. Dennoch kann man sie nur zeitweise hören, denn irgendwann flacht diese ab. Die Tiel werden uninteressant und nach einiger Zeit hört man nicht mehr hin. Mir fehlt ein bisschen das Besondere an der Musik. Meiner Meinung nach handelt es sich hier eher um angenehmen Hintergrundmusik. 

Das Album beinhaltet 9 Tracks. Das Cover ist recht einfach gestalltet. Fotomontagen von Landschaften und leichte Verschnörkelungen sorgen für ein eher zeitloses Design. 

Die Musik ist ok. aber nicht der Hammer, wie man es vielleicht von Ott, Zero Cult oder Solar Fields kennt.

10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, Zero... Go! In 2006, the sixth ENIGMA-soundship “A Posteriori” embarked on a new musical journey of discovery. The Latin title  translates to „based on experience, empirical“, and this aptly reflects the theme of this album.

Based on the combined experience of the five previous albums, Michael Cretu decided to explore new galaxies with his ENIGMA space-ship. Each song represents a different stage of this intergalactic sound-trip that lasts more than 50 minutes. “A Posteriori” focuses on the phenomena of the universe drawing the listener’s attention to the present state of humanity.

The single release "Goodbye Milky Way”, for example proclaims – based on scientific findings - that our galaxy will cease to exist: "In 5 billion years the Andromeda galaxy will collide with our milky way... A new gigantic cosmic world will be born."

Despite this seemingly dark undertone, a message of hope resonates throughout the album. Hope that drives mastermind Michael Cretu time and again: "For a better world without hate, follow your heart, believe in fate, only visions and the mind will guide you to the light."

Im Jahre 2006 erschien das nun sechste Album von Enigma: A Posteriori. Die Musik setzte neue Maßstäbe und es werden erneut elektronische Klänge mit Mystischem vermischt. Das Album beschreibt eine Reise durch das Universum auf einem intergalaktischem Raumschiff. Es durchfliegt verschiedene Zeiten und Welten, deren Phänomene sich in der Musik widerspiegeln.
Der Titel "Goodby Milky Way" zeigt uns deutlich, wie verbunden die Musik mit dem Universum ist. In dem Song wird beschrieben, dass in 5 Millionen Jahren die Andromeda-Galaxie mit unserer Milchstraße zusammenstoßen wird. Ein neuer Riese soll geboren werden.
50 Minuten Spieldauer werden von tiefen Tönen untermalt, sie Hoffnung symbolisieren sollen.
Michael Cretu spricht dabei eine Welt an, die frei von Hass, Gewalt und Trauer ist. Folge deinem Herz, zeige Glauben und du wirst zum Licht geführt.

Das Album gefällt mir sehr gut. Es ist eines der Besten, weil die Musik hervorragend komponiert wurde. Klare Klänge, mystische Sounds und angenehme Rhythmen sorgen für Entspannung. Teilweise werden diese von flotten Beats begleitet, die das Ganze auflockern und nicht zu düster erscheinen lassen.

"Behind the Dub Side" ist das letzte Studioalbum, welches bisher erschienen ist (2006). Auf die französische Gruppe, deren Musik eine kreative Kombination elektronischen Elemente, Dub-Beats und Chill-Out-Rhythmen ist, stieß ich vor einigen Jahren auf der französischen Musikseite Deezer.com.
Die Musik begeisterte mich sofort. Dieser Rhythmus und Klang war außergewöhnlich und hat mich sofort begeistert. 

Amazon half mir und die PLatte fand endlich ihren Platz bei mir im Regal. Die Musik ist vergleichbar mit Kukan Dub Lagan, Ott und RND.
Dub Wiser brachte bereits drei Studioalben ans Tageslicht: "A New Lillenium of Dub", "Chapter II (Tribute to Remixes)" und "Behind the Dub Side"

Itay's general musical influences are wide-ranging His journey into chill-out djing started in 2002 in Israel. Returning back to Israel, he enroled to sound engineering college for one year and totally commited himself to music composition. Drawing from his djing experience, his early family musical influences as well as his own musical background he created his chill-out project: KUKAN-DUB-LAGAN. It is a combination of three separate words: KUKAN, which means "space" in japanese; DUB which represents the music style; and, LAGAN, comes from the word "ba-lagan" which in hebrew means "chaos". Gute Musik ist selten aber dennoch gibt es immer wieder neue Dinge zu entdecken. So ist das auch mit Kukan Dub Lagan. Ein Album steht bei mir schon lange im Regal: "Life is Nice" Es erschien 2004 und war das erste Release von dem israelischen Künstler Itay Berger.
Mit dem Alter von 16 Jahren interessiert sich Itay für Trance-Music. Er besuchte viele Partys und half in einigen Clubs als Techniker aus.
1997/98 reiste er nach Ibiza und besuchte  Juan´s ( Muses Rapt) Studio.
Nach seiner Rückkehr begann er selber Trance-Music zu komponieren. Zu den größten Auftritten gehörten seine Live-Act´s während einer totalen Sonnenfinsternis in Cusco (Peru) und New York.
Itay´s Musik wurde durch verschiedene Künstler wie Toires, Pink Floyd, Bob Marley, Rolling Stones, Massive Attack und vielen weitern stark beeinflusst.
Seit 2002 hat sich Itay dem Chill-Out hingegeben. Er bereiste Japan und trat als DJ Itay in Osaka und Kyoto auf.
Zurück in Israel besuchte er eine Schule für Sounddesign. Es entstand das musikalische Projekt Kukan Dub Lagan. Der Begriff setzt sich aus drei verschiedenen Wörtern zusammen. Kukan ist japanisch und bedeutet Weltraum. Dub ist die Bezeichnung für einen Musikstil. Lagan leitet sich von dem hebräischen Wort ba lagan ab, was so viel wie Chaos bedeutet.
Die Musik ist eine Mischung aus Dub, Raggea und psychodelischen Sounds welche, wie oben erwähnt, teilweise chaotisch wirken aber dennoch Ruhe und Gelassenheit ausstrahlen. "Life is Nice" gefällt mir von allen Alben immer noch am besten. Die Musik und ihr unverwechselbarer Klang sind einmalig und können sich durchaus mit Ott, Tripswitch und Dub Wiser messen. "Life is Nice" ist wirklich ein sehr schönes Album, welches ich nur wärmstens empfehlen kann.

Young talented producer from Ibiza, Isaak HYPNOTIZER presents his first album, to be released beginning of 2008 by Space Tepee Music (www.myspace.com/spacetepeemusic).

Appearing on several compilations such as "Kumharas Ibiza", "Tibet, a culture un danger"..., Isaak produces an original creative psychedelic sound, working on an ethnic rhythmed ambient side.

Es wird wieder spannend in der Musik. Nun möchte ich mich um eines meiner ersten Erungenschaften kümmern: 
Isaak Hypnotizer - 1 Freedom. Hierbei handelt es sich um Chill-Out-Trance bzw. Psydub und Downbeat.
Isaak trat bereits auf verschiedenen Trance-Festivals auf. Berühmt wurde er durch die Auftritte beim Kumharas (Ibiza).
Seit dem Alter von 17 Jahren gibt sich der Künstler der ambienten Musik hin. Im Laufe seiner musikalischen Karriere arbeitete er mit verschiedenen Künstlern zusammen. Zu ihnen gehörten Pathaan, Loic, Elea, Lennart und vielen andere.
Die Musik ist von verschiedenen, klanglichen Mitteln gekennzeichnet. Besonders aufällig sind die psychodelischen Sequenzen sowie Klänge, die oft sehr melodisch, ausgefallen und teilweise hypnotisierend wirken. In vielen Liedern begleiten ruhige Vocals die Musik.
Alle Titel  sind hervorragend zum relaxen und entspannen geeignet. Ich jedenfalls schlafe ziehmlich schnell ein, wenn ich diese Musik höre. Verrückt!
Isaak Hypnotizer ist vergleichbar mit Ott, Capsula, Kukan Dub Lagan und Slackbaba.
Diese CD darf in solch einer Sammlung auf jeden Fall nicht fehlen.
Das Cover ist, gleich der Musik, sehr abstrakt und strahlt eine psychodelische Wirkung auf den Betrachter aus.

One of the years most anticipated releases is finally here. The second full length album from Slackbaba This is certainly his best work to date. A new album, which I would like to introduce today is "Perverting Mankind"of "Slakbaba". 
It was released on the 24th 3rd 2010 and therefore belongs already to the older models.
Once again I had been looking for something faster music, I was very quickly found. I came across the album "Slackbaba - Perverting Mankind". 
With his abstract tones and sounds, it is immediately struck me. I have auditioned the album several times and taken my decision quickly.
The Music:
The music is quite bizarre, a touch of oriental and strong DUB-Beats traversed. Especially crazy is Title 2, which is noticeable especially with his psychotic distortions.
Title is a particularly loaded and errinert me always in a disco scene of "Blade".
I particularly like title 5, 7 (the most distorted sounds), 8 (which is quite calm and serenity emanates), 9 (oriental singing accompanied by guitars) and 11 (this is very distorted spherically -> mystical effect)
Slackbaba actually lies behind the Englishman Jonathan Smith, who has specialized in psychedelic and downtempo.
Located is the artist in the english label "Liquid Records".
The music for one or the other may sound strange, but it also makes a good party atmosphere. The music is comparable to RND - Ask the Dust.

Ein neues Album, welches ich heute vorstellen möchte ist "Perverting Mankind" von "Slakbaba". 
Das Album erschien am 24. 3. 2010 und gehört daher schon zu den älteren Modellen.
Nachdem ich mich wieder einmal auf die Suche nach etwas schnellerer Musik gemacht hatte, wurde ich recht schnell fündig. Ich stieß auf das Album "Slackbaba - Perverting Mankind". 
Mit seinen abstrakten Tönen und Klangwelten ist es mir sofort aufgefallen. Ich habe das Album einige Male vorgehört und meinen Entschluss schnell gefasst.
Zur Musik:
Die Musik ist ziemlich skurril, orientalisch angehaucht und von kräftigen DUB-Beats durchzogen. Besonders verrückt ist Titel 2, der mit seinen psychotischen Verzerrungen besonder auffällt.
Titel eins ist besonders geladen und errinert mich immer an einer Discoszene von "Blade".
Besonders gut gefallen mir Titel 5, 7 (der besonders verzerrte Klänge besitzt), 8 (der recht ruhig ist und Gelassenheit ausstrahlt), 9 (orientalischer Gesang begleitet von Gitarren) und 11 (dieser ist sehr sphärisch verzerrt -> mystische Wirkung)
Hinter Slackbaba steckt eigentlich der Engländer Jonathan Smith, der sich auf Psychodelic und Downtempo spezialisiert hat.
Angesiedelt ist der Künstler beim englischen Label "Liquid Records".
Die Musik mag für den ein oder anderen seltsam klingen, doch sorgt auch sie für gut Partystimmung. Die Musik ist vergleichbar mit RND - Ask the Dust.

Infected Mushroom - Converting Vegetarians

Psy-Trance innovators Infected Mushroom have become one of the biggest electronic bands on the planet. Twice ranked among the world’s 10 best DJs by the bible of the scene, the U.K.’s DJ Magazine, the Israel-bred, L.A. based duo bring a frenetic rock energy to the form. Their explosive show, featuring guitars, live drums, intensely passionate vocals and an ambitious multimedia backdrop, ranks among the genre’s most unpredictably joyous events. And their recordings continually venture where other electronic acts fear to tread.

Amit “Duvdev” Duvedevani and Erez Eisen have been working for nearly two years on an aggressive new album – their first since 2007’s critically acclaimed Vicious Delicious – for dance-music visionary Paul Oakenfold’s Perfecto label. Duvdev describes the as-yet untitled record, recorded at Infected Mushroom Laboratory in L.A. and slated for a June 2009 release, as a return to the pair’s metal roots. Guests include singer Jonathan Davis of Korn, who lends his estimable pipes to the track “Smashing the Opponent.”

Oakenfold has worked closely with the band in an A&R capacity. “Paul’s known as a House DJ, so we weren’t sure how he’d feel about our heaviest material,” Duvdev reveals, “but he loved it. He’s really brought a lot of great energy and advice to the table.”

From the Ultra Fest in Miami to the Virgin Festival in Baltimore, from Mexico’s OMIX to Cali’s Coachella, from Brazil’s Ipanema Beach to Melbourne’s Metro Club, Infected Mushroom has averaged about 120 live performances per year. The band will honor that tradition in 2009, starting with a 17-date U.S. tour slated to kick off in Texas in March.

Infected Mushroom wurde 2005 vom britischen DJ Magazine zu den 100 besten DJs (Platz 26) gewählt. 2006 erreichten sie Platz 12 und 2007 sogar Platz 9. Anfang 2006 zogen Infected Mushroom von Israel nach Los Angeles (USA), wo sie laut eigenen Aussagen bessere Möglichkeiten zum Zusammenarbeiten mit anderen Künstlern (auch außerhalb der Goa-Szene) vorfinden.

2007 komponierte die Band den Soundtrack für die neue Version 6 des Instant-Messaging-Programms ICQ.

Ihren Durchbruch in den USA hatten sie 2009 mit dem Album Legend of the Black Shawarma, das sie in die Top 10 der Dance-Album-Charts brachte.

Converting Vegetarians ist noch erhältlich und das ist auch gut so. Das Album wird als Doppel-CD in einem Digipack geliefert, was sehr edel ist. 
Besser jedoch ist die Doppel-LP, die allerdings bei einem Preis zwischen 70 € und 200 € liegt.
