J.P..Illusion known as John panagoulias was born in Athens at 1981. At an early age discovered his passion about music.For many years tempted from the musical waves of psytrance/progressive/chillout stages and In early 2004, began studying music technology. Soon begins a time travell, composing music Dj appearances at clubs, olso Recordings,Tape music and sound design. After years of work he deside to create the first ambient dub Chillout album with the title Return to Zero. tunes specially designed to aid relaxation and provide balance for today's stressful rhythms. tracks from downtempo and ambient grooves to ethnic and trance influences will take you in a peaceful trip and Return you to Zero. Die letzten paar Alben, die ich beschrieben habe, gehörten eher zu den älteren Exemplaren. Kehren wir nun wieder zu den aktuellen Erscheinungen zurück.
Erst gestern eingetroffen: J.P. Illusion - Return to Zero. Wieder einmal ein ganz besonderes Album, welches nun kurz vorgestellt wird.
Oben habt ihr ja schon einige Infos lesen können. Nun noch eine eigene Bewertung.
Bei J.P. Illusion - Return to Zero handelt es sich nicht um Trance. Die Musik ist in die  Genre Dub, Ambient und Psydub einzuordnen.
Psychodelische Sounds, ambiente Rhythmen und gelassene Beats bilden eine angenehme Musikmischung. Die Musik orientiert sich teilweise an Ott, Capsula, Slackbaba und der Gleichen.
Einige Titel sind ruhig und angenehm zu hören. Andere wiederum klingen exotisch und teilweise mystisch. So zum Beispiel Nummer fünf, dessen klanglich interessante Musik von einer  fremdartig anmutenden Stimme begleitet wird.
Besonders schön sind Titel eins und sechs.
Natürlich gibt es auch Stücke wie 2, 4, 8 und 12, die besonders auf Dub-Partys ein Kracher wären. Man sollte es herausfinden! ;-)
Das Cover ist einfach aber dennoch schön gestalltet. Eine Küstenkulisse mit Sonnenuntergang lässt uns zusammen mit der Musik dahinschweben.
Bisher ist es das einzige und erste Album von  John Panagoulias.
J.P. Illusion - Return to Zero ist ein gelungenes Album und John hat sich durchaus viel Mühe gegeben.
